Snorkel Baja's blue lagoons, swim with sea lions, refresh in meditation, and rejuvenate with yoga while relaxing on Baja's beaches in sunny Mexico on the Sea of Cortez with the iRise Above Foundation.
You'll touch down in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, and head to Los Colibris Casitas in the heavenly seaside Todos Santos. Set high on a hill and offering breathtaking ocean views, this beautiful property features airy rooms, terraced landscapes, and quiet spaces that reach all the way down to the shoreline. Refresh and de-stress by sharing the perfect combination of pampering, mouth-watering meals, and active outdoor adventure with your fellow iRise Above companions who are as enthusiastic about exploring Baja as you are.
Start off your adventure with a grounded meditation session with Sandra, your wellness coach, who will be traveling with you on your journey this week. In the evening, celebrate the flavors of Mexico with a spectacular welcome dinner as you get to know the other iRise Above women in our group.
Your first full day of Baja fun begins with an early morning restorative yoga class on the sky deck where ocean views surround you. The rest of your day includes a horseback ride over the pristine beaches of Todos Santos. After your horseback exploration, head to the beach for surfing lessons with the pros on Playa Los Cerritos, one of the best surf breaks in Baja. Don't worry if you've never tried surfing before: Our talented surfing instructors will help launch you into the calm waters of Playa Los Cerritos. Later, you'll round out the day with an evening meditation class with Sandra.
Snorkeling with sea lions, swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding await you the next day on Isla Espiritu Santo, an island in the Gulf of California reserved exclusively for iRise Above offering a private, secluded glamping experience on the beach. Surrounded by the cerulean Sea of Cortez, you and your new friends can hike the cliffs, kayak the protected blue waters, and master the stand-up paddle board, then wind down at night by counting the millions of vibrant stars that sparkle overhead. Then, for some real undersea magic, try swimming and snorkeling with Baja’s inquisitive, friendly, and playful sea lions. You are likely to have a “nose-to-nose” encounter with these fun fellows, so make sure you bring your underwater camera.
Connect in body, mind, and spirit while on Isla Espiritu with morning restorative yoga sessions, alongside your sisters of strength. Discover the power of intuition medicine, which focuses on the balance of energy and emotion within and take part in the ancient tradition of the cacao ceremony that supports healing.
Return to Todos Santos for a final Baja sunset and an exquisite final iRise Above group dinner that you and your new friends prepare during a festive Mexican cooking class. Learn to make the perfect margarita and celebrate this amazing trip on the soothing and warm beaches of Mexico.
