On our active expeditions you will venture off the beaten path at the end of the 6-month iJourney program, with a group of young women like yourself, in spectacular places around the world. Whether you find yourself reaching the summit of the tallest mountain in the world, snorkeling along side majestic whales and colorful coral reefs, kayaking before magnificent glaciers, trekking through untouched glorious landscapes, or coming face-to-face with a herd of incredibly curious elephants, you'll experience the unforgettable rush that comes with achieving a personal quest. This active expedition is intended to enable you to celebrate your journey to overcome the unique challenges associated with having breast cancer as a young woman, and showcase the mind-body-spirit transformation that has taken place during your 6-month iJourney program. The experience is cathartic. You will close one chapter in your life and open another, equipped with an amazing toolbox for healthier living that will ultimately help improve your long-term survival and quality of life.
We want each woman to thrive in excellent health, possibilities and fulfillment. We encourage each woman to do the thing she thinks she cannot do and challenge her not to worry about failures, but worry about the chances she may miss when she doesn’t even try!

CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE TYPE
Our active expeditions are rated by activity level - from Moderate/Strenuous to Maximum - so you can choose the one that best suits you. All of the itineraries are well-paced and filled with opportunities for you to push your limits, choose the harder trail, or go on the extra hike.
Each itinerary thoughtfully integrates yoga and meditation to promote brain health, mental health and overall well-being. Yoga is thought to positively influence mental health, prevent illness and injury, and also help in coping with chronic issues including authorities, pain management, cardiovascular disease, and even depression and anxiety. Integrating yoga and meditation into our active expeditions provides a unique holistic experience for each participant.
Participants should be physically fit and prepared for multiple hours of activity (e.g., hiking, kayaking, biking) each day. Certain days may have more challenging physical activity, such as ascents/decents on steep mountain terrain.
Designed for experienced active participants in excellent physical condition, these itineraries may include full-day hikes (some at high altitude) or full-day kayaking excursions. Trails often include steep ascents/descents on mountainous terrain, with some exposed sections.
The ultimate challenge for serious hikers who are very fit and have experience hiking or trekking at high elevations. These itineraries include numerous challenging, full-day hikes.
